Emirates, Etihad and Air Arabia cancel Gulf flights amid regional tensions

Etihad Airways, Emirates and Air Arabia have announced changes affecting selected routes to Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Emirates has cancelled flights to Kuwait, Bahrain and Amman. Etihad Airways has cancelled selected flights between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait and Bahrain. Air Arabia has cancelled several flights across its Abu Dhabi and Sharjah networks to Kuwait and Bahrain. Qatar Airways has temporarily suspended passenger flights to Bahrain, Erbil and Kuwait until August 7, 2026. Several international airlines including British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa and others continue to suspend or reduce services in the region. Passengers are urged to monitor airline updates closely as schedules may change at short notice, arrive at least three hours before departure, check flight status before leaving home, and use online check-in options where available.
