Organisations interested in purchasing Clean Energy Certificates must register for the 20th auction by 31st July 2026 via www.ewec.ae/cleanenergycertificates or by emailing CleanEnergyCertificates@ewec.ae.
September 2026
- Financial services due 7 Sept 2026DFSA proposes major update to DIFC fund rules in CP 173
Fund managers, asset managers, custody providers, and advisers operating in DIFC must submit feedback on CP 173 by 7 September 2026.
- Corporate due 16 Sept 2026Sharjah Civil Defence offers 50% discount on fines through September 2026
Businesses with outstanding civil defence or police violations issued between 2019 and 2026 should contact Sharjah Civil Defence or Sharjah Police to apply for the 50% fine discount within the three-month window (June 16 – September 16, 2026).

UAE users with Weebly sites must download their data and content before September 27, 2026, and transfer their domain names to a new provider before December 26, 2026.
October 2026
- Tax due 30 Oct 2026UAE e-invoicing mandates phase-in from July 2026, starting with AED 50m+ firms
Taxpayers with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an accredited e-invoicing service provider by 30 October 2026 and implement the system by 1 January 2027.
- Tax due 30 Oct 2026E-invoicing mandate: Large businesses must appoint service provider by October 30, 2026
Large businesses (annual revenue ≥Dh50m) must appoint an accredited e-invoicing service provider by October 30, 2026 to comply with mandatory implementation on January 1, 2027. Smaller businesses must appoint a provider by March 31, 2027 for July 1, 2027 implementation. All businesses must ensure systems can generate PEPPOL-compliant structured electronic invoices.
December 2026
- Corporate due 31 Dec 2026Dubai Customs offers instalment plan and 80% fine reduction for eligible businesses
Importers with eligible customs duties must apply to Dubai Customs' Finance Department by 30 September 2026 to benefit from the instalment plan. Businesses with qualifying fines issued before 28 February 2026 must submit applications by 31 December 2026 to claim the 80 per cent reduction.
June 2027
- Digital & tech due 30 Jun 2027Social media age minimum raised to 15 under Cabinet Resolution 106
Social media platforms must implement age verification systems and build in age-appropriate safeguards (content filtering, contact limits, screen-time tools, parental controls) for 15–16-year-olds. Parents should prepare children for the transition by encouraging offline activities and modelling healthy digital habits.
