Etihad cancels Abu Dhabi–Bahrain and Abu Dhabi–Kuwait flights due to regional security

US-Iran tensions have triggered airline schedule changes across the Gulf. Etihad Airways has cancelled flights between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, and flights EY653 and EY654 between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait. Emirates has advised passengers to check flight status before departure, with some flight information between Dubai and Bahrain and Kuwait only available closer to departure. Air Arabia has also cancelled some flights between the UAE and Bahrain. The cancellations follow a US State Department security alert covering the UAE and other countries, warning of possible flight cancellations and temporary airspace closures. Affected passengers are advised to contact their airline for rebooking options and to monitor airline websites for real-time updates. Travellers from UAE airports are urged to arrive at least three hours before departure and check flight status before heading to the airport.
