Five-year multiple-entry tourist visa now available in Dubai

Dubai's General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) offers a self-sponsored five-year multiple-entry tourist visa open to visitors of all nationalities. The visa allows holders to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days per visit, with an option to extend for another 90 days, provided total annual stay does not exceed 180 days. Applicants must have a valid passport (six months' validity), health insurance, round-trip ticket, and maintain a bank balance of at least $4,000 (Dh14,690) for the preceding six months. The total application cost is approximately Dh3,713, including visa fees, service charges and a refundable financial guarantee. Applications are submitted online through the GDRFA website (www.gdrfad.gov.ae) by creating an account, selecting the five-year tourism permit, completing the form, uploading documents, and paying fees. Once approved, applicants receive a digital copy via email.
