Gold prices in the UAE have eased slightly after recent highs. In the last 30 days, prices have dropped 6.30 per cent. On Tuesday morning, 18-karat gold traded below Dh400 per gram at Dh398.25. 24-karat gold traded at Dh523.25, down from the previous night's close of Dh523.75. 22-karat gold also saw a small drop. Bullion was trading around $4,340 an ounce, reversing course after a sharp fall the day before. The decline in oil prices has reduced inflationary concerns, traditionally a tailwind for gold. Meanwhile, investor demand for gold has shown resilience, with bullion-backed ETFs seeing roughly 50 tons of inflows so far this month.
