Indian passport applicants must use own email and phone for appointments

Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) in the UAE have issued an advisory warning applicants to use their own email address and contact number when booking appointments for passport, visa, and consular services. The email ID and phone number entered during appointment booking must belong to the applicant and will be verified when the application is submitted at the centre. Any mismatch may lead to delays or rejection of the application or service. The notice also states that failure to provide valid details or supporting documents may result in rejection of the appointment or service request. Applicants whose appointments have been booked by a family member must present valid proof of the relationship when submitting their application. The advisory comes after the Government of India officially outsourced passport, visa, consular and attestation services to Alhind Tours & Travels from July 22. Appointments must now be applied for through the consularsevainuae.com website, with new slots released daily at 9 am and 9 pm.
