The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait said:
1. Visit visa: Automatic extension of all types of visit visas for those currently in the country will cease, and the legal durations, procedures, and regulations governing entry visas will be reinstated.
2. Leave permits: Legal durations for leave permits for residents currently outside the country will be reinstated. The additional period will remain in effect for residents who left the country on or before August 31, 2026, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
3. Residency permit: The residency permit certificate issued through the "Sahl" application is the official and approved reference for determining the expiry date of leave permits, and residents must adhere to the specified duration upon their return to the country.
