Residents travelling between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai will have more public transport options with daily bus services increasing to 19 in each direction under a revised timetable introduced by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority.
The new schedule takes effect on August 24 and extends operating hours with more direct services between the two emirates. The first bus from Ras Al Khaimah departs at 5am, while the final service from Dubai leaves at 11.30pm with six direct buses to Dubai.
From Ras Al Khaimah, direct services will depart at 5am, 6am, 7am and 8am, followed by services operating via Sharjah from 9am to 3pm. Additional direct departures operate at 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Services via Sharjah also run at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, while the final 9pm service travels via Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and Sharjah.
For passengers from Dubai, buses operate hourly via Umm Al Quwain from 7.30am to 5.30pm. Direct services depart at 6pm and 8pm, with additional services via Umm Al Quwain at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm, 9.30pm, 10.30pm and 11.30pm.
