Ticketless paid parking rolled out at West Yas Plaza, Yas Bay, Yas Marina

Abu Dhabi's Yas Island has announced ticketless paid parking across three major locations on the island, eliminating the need for physical tickets and barriers. The parking system is being rolled out on West Yas Plaza, Yas Bay and Yas Marina in partnership with Parkonic. Motorists can enter and exit with parking fees deducted from their Salik accounts using licence plate recognition. Payment options include QR codes on site, automatic Salik payment, and the Parkonic app.

West Yas Plaza: Free parking for the first hour daily, then Dh10 per hour; Dh20 for overnight parking (1am–6am) and Dh20 per hour for exceeding 24 hours. Cash payments and parking machines unavailable. Fees apply Monday to Sunday including public holidays. Re-entry treated as new entry.

Yas Bay: Underground parking P1 and P2 charged from first hour. Three hours free with validation; six hours free for warehouse gym and beach guests. Rates: Dh20 first hour, Dh10 per hour thereafter; Dh20 overnight and Dh20 per hour exceeding 24 hours. Fees apply Monday to Sunday including public holidays.

Yas Marina: Charged from first hour with exceptions. Three hours free with validation; six hours free for gym guests. Same rates as Yas Bay. Visitors without Salik or insufficient balance must use alternative payment before exit. Failure to pay may result in fines, blacklisting, and legal action.
