Walk-in passport and visa services open at 16 Alhind centres in UAE for eligible applicants

The Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi announced walk-in facility availability at Alhind Tours and Travels centres for eligible applicants. Walk-ins are available between 9am and 1pm at all 16 Indian Consular Application Centres. Eligible applicants include Tatkal passport applicants, new-born cases, Emergency Certificate applicants, senior citizens, and people of determination. The Indian mission encourages applicants to book online appointments at consularsevainuae.com, as walk-ins will be attended as per availability of slots. Service timings at all centres are 8am to 6pm. Alhind levies a service charge of Dh19 inclusive of VAT, covering form filling, photograph, typing documents, domestic courier, printouts and photocopies. This is in addition to Indian government fees. Indian passport fees increased from July 1, 2025—the first increase in 14 years. For ordinary 36-page passports, normal scheme costs are now Rs2,500 (from Rs1,500) and Tatkaal Rs5,000 (from Rs3,500). For 60-page passports, costs are Rs3,500 (from Rs2,000) and Rs6,000 (from Rs4,000). For NRIs, 36-page passports cost $125 normal and $250 Tatkaal; 60-page passports cost $175 normal and $300 Tatkaal.
