Dubai Land Department has launched the 'Initial Registration' platform to integrate project registration, real estate transaction registration and escrow account management. The platform uses artificial intelligence to read documents including Emirates IDs, passports and sales contracts, automatically extracting and populating data fields to reduce manual entry and improve accuracy. Standard transactions meeting requirements are eligible for approval upon submission. The platform provides 'Project 360', a consolidated view covering unit status, escrow accounts, financial data and project records, with early warning indicators to identify challenges. Developers can manage multiple companies through a single account with defined user permissions and separate roles for submitting and reviewing transactions. The platform aims to increase first-time application acceptance rates, reduce follow-up enquiries and minimise manual data entry to accelerate transaction completion.
