Dubai private schools given three years to adopt FutuReady career guidance standards

Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has launched the FutuReady Framework, a new set of nine standards for academic and career guidance across educational institutions. The framework is designed to prepare students from early years through graduation with adaptability, transferable skills, and understanding of emerging career pathways. Private schools have been given three years to implement the standards or enhance their existing guidance provision. KHDA has published FutuReady Framework handbooks tailored to different educational settings and will organise workshops for education leaders and practitioners to explain implementation expectations. The framework emphasises ongoing guidance throughout a student's education, personalised support for individual needs, inclusive guidance for students of determination, and family and community engagement. KHDA has also partnered with the National Career Development Association (NCDA) to support launch and implementation through research and professional development.
