Evening rush-hour congestion on E311 and Dubai–Sharjah corridor

Motorists across Dubai and Sharjah faced heavy evening congestion on Tuesday, June 23, with the worst delays concentrated around the Dubai–Sharjah corridor. Slow-moving traffic was reported along the E311 (Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road) and approaches into Sharjah city near interchanges S116 and S117. A road closure near the E88 in Hay Barashi pushed additional traffic onto surrounding streets. Within Dubai, delays surfaced around Ras Al Khor and Dubai Creek Harbour along the D62, with sluggish flow on connectors into Nad Al Hamar. The eastbound E44 toward Al Aweer and sections near Al Quoz also experienced heavy traffic. Earlier, Sharjah Police flagged a separate disruption on Emirates Street where a heavy vehicle had broken down, causing congestion at the exit to Maliha Street.
