The Ministry of Finance and Federal Tax Authority hosted an awareness event in Ras Al Khaimah on the UAE eInvoicing System. The 5-Corner Model is now operational in the Pilot Phase launched in July 2026, enabling businesses and Accredited Service Providers to test the end-to-end eInvoicing process and address operational and technical challenges ahead of mandatory implementation. Businesses subject to eInvoicing requirements must select an Accredited Service Provider, complete contractual arrangements, and progress technical integration before 1 January 2027. The eInvoicing System provides a standardised and interoperable framework supporting greater automation, efficiency and accuracy in business transactions. Implementation is proceeding gradually and in a carefully planned manner to give businesses sufficient time to prepare and transition smoothly to the system.
