UAE university registration streamlined to 3 minutes via new digital platform

Students applying to universities in the UAE can now complete their registration in just three minutes instead of 10 thanks to a new digital platform launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). The National Unified Registration and Admission Platform has reduced the number of registration steps from eight to three, a 62% reduction. The platform, which operates through the EduHub digital gateway, eliminates the need for students to submit documents by automatically retrieving their information from three official government data sources. It can recommend suitable academic programmes from more than 1,000 options and allows students to track their applications until they receive an admission decision. The improvements were discussed during the seventh meeting of the Higher Education Committee, held at the ministry's headquarters in Dubai.
