UAE suspends Iranian airline flights; international carriers reduce Dubai services

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has suspended flights operated by Iranian airlines to and from the country from September 24 until further notice. Several international carriers have also suspended or reduced services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with suspension dates ranging through October and into 2027. Air France has suspended Dubai services through October 13; Wizz Air is expected to resume October 25 (Abu Dhabi October 27); Singapore Airlines, KLM, ITA Airways, and SWISS have suspended Dubai services through October 24; Eurowings has suspended services through October 24 with current resumption scheduled for November 1; Air Canada has cancelled Dubai flights until mid-January 2027; and Philippine Airlines has scheduled Manila-Dubai service to resume October 2. Turkish Airlines has resumed Dubai and Abu Dhabi services, though Tehran flights remain suspended. UAE airports remain operational, but residents are advised to check directly with their airline and airport before travelling, as dates remain subject to operational and security conditions.
