ADRA inspects 414 building-materials firms; 15 violations recorded for price breaches

The Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (ADRA) expanded its field visits in July 2026 across 414 establishments specialised in the manufacturing and sale of building materials, to monitor prices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Four warnings were issued to establishments that increased prices without justification, while 15 violations were recorded for price increases and failure to provide sales and purchase invoices. The compliance rate reached 95.4 per cent, with 395 establishments meeting all required requirements. ADRA's inspection efforts are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen market stability, ensure availability of goods and services at fair prices and high quality, while protecting consumer rights.
