Dubai Customs has implemented a customs facilitation package approved by the Crown Prince that provides AED79 million in liquidity to the private sector. The measures include extending deadlines for suspended duty cases, allowing customs duties to be paid in instalments, and reducing financial penalties by 80%. Between 1 March and 30 June 2026, the facilitation measures supported trade flows worth AED33.9 billion, attracted more than 4,000 new customers, and benefited 6,613 companies through a 120-day extension for customs duty deadlines. The package was designed to strengthen business resilience and ease financial and operational pressures during regional economic developments.
