Speaking at the FutureSec conference, Al Kuwaiti said IoT devices — including autonomous vehicle systems and car dashboard cameras — were pulled into recent attacks “to send the message of fear, to send a message of terror.” Cyberattacks against the UAE have surged from a baseline of 200,000 to 300,000 a day to more than 800,000 during the recent regional conflict. He disclosed that the UAE recorded 640,000 attacks on Tuesday alone.
